In-person classes are held at the Butte College Skyway Center - 2480 Notre Dame Blvd, Chico, CA 95928.

2nd Annual Foster Care Museum

In honor of National Foster Care Month in May, the Foster Care Museum Planning Committee is seeking artwork and other pieces that express viewpoints and experiences of current and former foster youth. Submissions can include artwork, written pieces, artifacts or any other meaningful representations of time in care.

Submitted pieces will be displayed in the 2nd Annual Foster Care Museum happening April 25 - May 9 at The Museum of Northern California Art in Chico.

Opening Reception: Thursday, April 25, 2024 | 6:00pm - 8:00pm | Light refreshments will be served.

Submissions are Free!

Grandparents as Parents

Grandparents as Parents is a support group of caregivers that are currently raising or have raised their grandchildren or another person's children. This group meets to provide support and information, as well as share personal experiences, with one another. It is open to any foster parent or anyone who is raising someone else's child.

First and third Thursday of the month, 11:00am – 1:00pm
